um
i wouldnt use a razor blade ... if you have to auto parts stores like checkers , shucks , pepboys napa ,, they have plastic razorblades ... there used to scrape gaskets off of aluiminum sealing surfaces without gouging the surface ... id use thoes over a metal razor

and for the paper .. is it have some kind of adhesive holding it on .. I wouldnt use acetone due to it causing damage/melting acrylic .. but I would use some mild petroleum product like WD-40 to disolve the paper and adhesive .... then some alcohol to clean it up afterwards

Try soaking the paper with a hose, working it in with a rag a bit, then it might peel off. If that doesn't work, next I would try soap+warm water. I wouldn't want to try any auto products myself - as most could probably melt the acrylic as mentioned.

Just leave it on, who cares, it's on the bottom.

If you must take it off, hot water will do the trick. I like the WD40 idea also but I'm not sure how that will react to the acrylic?

An adheasive remover like Goo-off or a citricus base remover is what you need.
Acetone will mess the acrylic up. In another thread a guy caused surface cracks in the acrylic by washing it down with acetone. Don't make the same mistake!
