Hello i am 12 years old and i just got my first 55 gal. hexagon fish tank and i'm trying to breed Gymnogeophagus meridionalis. And i was wondering if anyone new anything about breeding them. Please Help!

these are substrate spawners. the ph should be between 7.0-7.8. just like most SA cichlids when you do a water change try to make the new water a LITTLE cooler like around 73 or 74 deg. This signals to them that the rainy season is coming and will help with breeding.
