I was on a while ago about what I thought was finrot . I treated with antibotics and they started to get better. They all were doing ok .Then I noticed it back again treated it again seem to be better . I went down tonight one has no eyes they are gone but he is alive put him out of his misery could this be something else . Now my eel has a open sore on his back. No ammonia no nitrites 15 nitrates. My giant danios which got it too are ok healed up good:nilly::nilly:

I'm far from expert but have had an aquarium for 10yrs with no majors problems. Too large of water change "new tank syndrome", large fucuations in PH, something new introduced to the tank that could cause stress, frozen food (outdated or spoiled?) water temperture consistant. Good filtering, water circulation. Just a few things off the top of my head, i'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in.

scary. i'm pretty sure the first comment will cover most of ur questions.

too much water change isn't the cause of new tank syndrome.

And I really doubt his fish are suffering from that since his ammonia and nitrites are zero.

OP, It would be helpful if you post some pics

Check out my early posts there are pics there. Now I am starting to wonder if they were wild :( could they bring something in.
