Need to have more info...

Is the tank new as in less than a month?

Is the fish new?

Water parameters?

Tank mates?

Goin around in circles with another fish? Is he in control of his swimming or more like in a cloth washer?

the tank is 2 years old. the fish is 2 months olds the one that is spinning. the tankmates are 4 ob peacocks, 2 firefish peacocks, 2 musli yellow tail acei, 1 5 inch red zebra, 3 firemouths, 1 jewel cichlid, 4 clown loaches, 1 bristlenose pleco, and 1 12 inch common pleco. he is swimming in spirals by himself and is not in control of his swimming. all the other fish are ok. i isolated him in a tank by himself. my ph is 8.0 and temp is 79 degrees F.

Sounds like swim bladder issue, could be stress could be water quality. Ecoli had good suggestions, btw what up ecoli??
