I didt think it through yesterday but my smaller pbass r only like 2.5-3" but my biggest is like 5.5-6" will he eat them or should I feed him before I Introduce them together

They "should" be ok together he won't eat them but might pic on them.. You can get some egg crate an divide a small section for them until there like 5"

Well all the egg crate I have is going toward there lid. And we don't know what to use to keep it in the tank

I have egg crate in my tank i use sand in my tank and I make the egg crate a tight fit an bend it slightly to fit in tight an burry it in the sand an I push extra sand toward it so it's deep I've had it up like that for 2 -3 months no problem

IMO egg crate alone is not enough for pbass I've seen them jump
Out tank with just egg crate. I use big cut pieces of tile for my tank nice an heavy ... The front half is glass 1/2 ". An back half is tile

Don't use wood for the lid. The water splash from the airstone and filter and create moisture on the wood soaking the wood and will dip back into the tank with harmful toxics from the wood. It'll kill ur baby cichla.Forsure.
