Need help !!!

IMO you should keep them in separate tanks b/c the big bass will eat the little bass. At that size the little bass may swim through the eggcrate. Good Luck!
 
I have never had a problem of keeping larger bass with smaller bass. I have kept a 15" wild kel with a 6" wild Guiana ocell with much success. I have also kept a 14" Peruvian mono with a 8" wild kel. As long as they are fed, I see no problem.

At 2.5 3" I never had a problem with Eggcrate but if your worried by fiberglass window screen comes in a roll. Not the metal one it's soft fiberglass Cheap .. An zip tie it to Eggcrate

R my filters good enough ? They r both rate for 80 gallons so it's 160 gallons of filtration
