I’m not sure where else to turn I’ve researched a ton an can’t find any info on what I need!! So we are starting to plant our tank nothing fancy pretty much all low techs.... but I wanna add carpets an things at some point!! Here’s the issue we have a 65 tall..., it’s 24/25 inches from top to buttom.... I need something that’s decently bright that will show fish color but that will also do a good job with my plants anyone have advice or links to help me out with? Thank you!!!!

On my 60 gallon cube tank, which is 24 inches deep, I have a Current Satellite + Pro. This is a really powerful light with good par value for a low tech tank. As far as carpet plants, there are not many that will do well at low-tech- but there are a handful:. You could try plants like Hydrocotyle sp. Japan, dwarf saggitaria, dwarf chain sword, or crypt parva would do well.
