Ok I am goin to give all the info right here.
My bichirs have gotten a white film over there eyes so I originally thought cloud eye burn this is the worst case I have ever seen if it is cloudy eye. So I’m unsure. All my bichirs had it but only 3 r still showing signs. It was the 3 who had it the worst.
Symptoms: heavy breathing, one had body slime on it’s head at one point, cloudy white eyes, and the spikes on one of there backs r swollen as well. Befor anyone says anything about my water parameters they were all perfect. Ph 6.0, nitrite 0 nitrate 0 ammonia was 1 lvl higher than 0. The only thing that’s changed in the tank recently is I added 4 bichirs within a 2 week period.
I have been doin a 50% wc everyday while useing api fin and body cure for 4 days. I also have been adding salt every wc as well I need to no what it is because while most of my bichirs look fine now 3 do not especially my wc pbb. Will post pics

Maybe test your water again no way you have 0 nitrates even if you ran a drip....
Now for treatment I would raise your tempt up to 88 90 add salt. I cant say its pop eye.... do tje fish have bloody streaks I'm theor bodies or just the eyes and swollen?

When you say perfect water parameters then list 0 nitrates but has ammonia....that’s not perfect parameters. This would be a sign that your tank isn’t cycled and is showing ammonia bc of the stocking

first how long has the tank been setup? How did you cycle it? What test kit are you using? Is it expired?

if your tank has been setup and running with fish for a few months and you know it was cycled, did you change anything recently? Cleaned the filters? If so please explain how.

when was your last water change? Do you use de chlorinator?

the clouded eye could be caused by the elevated level of ammonia you mentioned along with the shedding of the excessive slime coat....

edit: also please post your PH

Tested nitrates again they r 1 lvl above 0 now the tank has been running for years and I add prime when I do a wc iv also been doin that for years and iv been doin wc everyday after they got the infection. The ammonia is not elevated. I do wc 50% twice a week since I added the new fish. Let me reiterate my water is not perfect but it’s as close as u can get to perfect

Well I've seen this with ph crash amd the tank crashes so I hope your tests are up to date.... also bacterial infections hard to pin point. So I keep temp up and salt. Hard to offer med advice and I'm not one to start dumping random meds in hoping. Dont feed for the time being.
