Need ID. Dovii??? 2"

I don't have any experience raising p. multifasciatus, but this looks different to me than any of the other parachromis species.
Here are some 2" dovii, note the red edge on the dorsal.
As they grow, that red edge is lost.
Below grammodes to compare, 1st a young one @ 2-3".

I believe you'll need to have patience to see what they grow into.
This days, in LFSs, almost every cichlid should be considered suspect of being a hybrid.

It is so hard to get a decent pic of this fish.. i think it is a male Dovii. Gaining spots on his fins and coloration on his face. Too bad his split tail will not heal..
