Sweet info and pics! So is mine a belly crawler or Sven? It says they are often kept in the same aqaurium, meaning they are different?

So how do I sex them?

aye, they are two different species. C. sveni are from the Saxatilis group of pikes, where as C. sp. 'belly crawler' is from the Reticulatus group. C. sp. 'bellycrawler' has an atrophed swimbladder, which makes it difficult to swim so they stay on their belly alot, hence the name. Your is sveni. As they get larger, the female will develop a reddish/pink belly and a dot in the dorsal fin. Males will lack both..
