NEED ID ON A PLANT

Leaves seem too pointed to be Ludwigia. I agree with the Rotala indica. Some of the leaves will stay red as long as the lighting requirements are met and the essentials are maintained. A lack of light stimulates chlorophyl production, turning the leaves green. GL!
 
so- use compact flourescents? how many watts per gallon? These are in a 29g and i'd like to keep the reddish color going.
 
mine is growing in a 55 with 2x55w cf lighting. I've had it for about 2 months and have had to trim / replant twice so far. When it starts to cover the water's surface cut it in half and replant; roots will grow.
