Need Id. On These Fish..

go back and buy all of those feeders they will turn into a very nice fish when they grow

as an aside I picked up some rosie red minnnow feeders and saw some flashes of blue in the feeder tank so I took a closer look and here they had these platties with bright orange tails and verticle blue striping so I cleaned out the feeder tank got 30 of them and 15 rosie for 24 bucks

sry for the poor quality.. it's taken using phone cam & the water is kinda dirty coz of the glass shrimp that I fed.. (will be doin water change tomoro)
 
just looks like a great tail... except what is the little part that goes out even longer?

I hope someone here could explain to me what that extra little part is.. deformity?
