Its a senegal well fed I must say but def nothing more than a great senegal 8 out of 10 watch him eat make sure he passes waste no blockages and please put some sand in your tank it only takes 10 mins longer to clean and your birchers will be so much happer for it.

Wrong again!
Not a Senegal, it's clearly a Palmas Polli.

I really recommend you to read Bichir for Dummies if you are not a troll

palmas polli for sure, looks like mine did in light colored substrate... Oh-not a short body, just young and eats well. Mine is just now putting on weight as I found out what it likes to eat-shrimp pellets(nothing else?!).

If it was a Senegal it would be a solid green-washed out or not.

Also the color will darken up if you add black or at least dark substrate. ALL of mine except for my nearly blind SB albino darken up with dark substrate.

Really? Solid green Senegal washed out or not?

I have only seen senegals with 3 colour tones, dark, light and olive.

My seng is green (olive?) on top fading to cream on his belly. no patterns whatsoever. My Palmas on the other hand is speckled and patterned. I have a video of my tank in the videos section on here, I am color blind, but I can see green. ;)

its a palmas polli for sure now.. :)

the coloration is WAY nicer :) and i got a name for it already :D
