need ID on this pleco !

4 inches in 7 months is good. Ive got a few plecos who have maybe gained an inch in the last year.

Many plecos, especially panaques grow very slowly. Sometimes you are lucky to get 1" out of them per year. Sometimes the same fish that only grew 1" last year will grow 3" this year.

4 inches is not bad for a pleco. Not all catfish are RTCs. Fully grown plecos are only about 25% the mass of a RTC

wow! tht's why my last pleco looks tht it nver grows. hahhah shame on me, didnt take good care of it. :L btw, thnks for the info.
