Need ideas for a active bottom and dweller

I have a 300 gallon with an 14” jardini and about 7 different Severums ranging about 5-7”. I’m looking for a nice looking active bottom dweller preferably a catfish that won’t eat my sevs and would max out about 18”. I also may consider a shoal of loaches down the line so must be compatible with them. I tried my hand at rays and it didn’t work out. Any suggestion?

Lima cats. They are pretty good at sizing up what they can fit in their mouths. If they can't, they won't.

I'd be quite concerned about the Jardini though

Why didn't the ray work? I'd try again with maybe a different size ray but if not i guess maybe a cool bichir or small tigrinus. The tigrinus could get to 2" but should be fine if the severums are fat.
