Need ideas for covering tank

Erm... I meant 'tank lid' & stand should be under $200... The tank will be new, and quite a bit more than that unfortunately... Shipping it to my island is costly... Hence why I'm still saving for it...
 
I also built a cover for my 75 gallon with plywood. I just cut out a hole for the 48" light strip I already had and made 2 cutouts in the back for the filter and heater. Then I painted it black with some outdoor paint and it looks pretty good.

Eggcrate would be the easiest and cheapest if you're looking to go that route.
 
There has got to be a glass store near by. They can cut you pieces so you can make a fold back lid.
