Need ideas for this huge sump!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just went and checked on the basement idea and it very well might be a possibility that it will fit down there. Theres gonna be alot of extra plumbing to do but it would make it look alot cleaner and alot less of a hazzard incase it were to ever flood.

to put the epuipment in the basement you will need a pump that can pump pretty high. I am having that issue right now with my system.

I have a Blueline 40 hd it says it will do 21' max head, being the sump will be on a concrete shelf 3' off the ground it should only have to pump 10' max. My turnover rate will be going way down but atleast that big ole sump will be out of my way and down stairs where it will be easy to work on.

I wasn't knocking your base, sorry for the missunderstanding. I meant ditch the table base that you get with the table top. I wouldn't think you would use your current stand for for part of a dining room table ;) can't wait to see the finished table.

After doing a little research ive decided to build a metal frame out of angle iron. That way it will be nice and strong and not have to look so bulky. Plus this way you can have a little more leg room underneath it.

Gonna call on some prices tommorow.

I think all i would need is:

(2) 12' x 1-1/2 x 1-1/2" x 3/16"
(4) 4' x 4" x 3/16" flat steel

Just weld up the frame with angle iron and run cross supports with the flat steel.
Just wondering how much its gonna cost for materials.
