Hey i have been around the internet and even reptic Zone to see the water dragon enclosures. I would just like to check out the enclosures on here. so any aussie, chinese water dragons or basalisk enclosures would be awsome.

Im planning on building a tank, or some sort of viviarium for them.

and has anyone kept them with turtles. seeing as turtles are snappy they might go after the tail.

and anything closely related would be cool to.

I have to agree, plus turtles-- depending on type --need LOTS of space. Waterdragons by nature would seek out territory both on land and in the water section of the enclosure and IMO the experience could end badly for one or both.

Also, on the subject of tips- a waterfall feature would be pretty nice, as could live plants if you've got a green thumb.

Plants would be nice to have but you would have to make sure you had tough leaved ones b/c the wd would tear the leaves up easily with its nails especially as they get older.

yea the plants would be planted and would be large with tough leaves so no shredding.

lol does nobody have any examples.?

Look at water land tubs, theyre made for turtles, but would work great for aquatic lizards. Then build a skeleton around it and use FRP or tile board to waterproof it (use silicone). And lastly you can get a cheap trailer window at Home depot for your viewing door.

Plus turts carry organisms that can be really dangerous to lizards. Even crocs can fall hill for that. ;)
