I really doubt it would - Most JDs I've had aren't overly aggressive, and those who were didn't mess with anything that stayed on the bottom. Texas get a little too big for a 55.

Clown loaches are schooling fish and do best kept in groups. Also will evetually outgrow a 55g tank.
Whatev then scrap the loaches and go with a whole mess of cories. Pandas are funny.

i guess i misunderstood your post then because i thought you said you had another Oscar...
either way i wouldnt put Jacks in a 55 for life but the 75 would be ok IMO.
If it were me i would go with Green Terrors/Gold Suams. Good color, personality, and not overly agressive. and would be fine in the 55 gal for life
Don't JDs and GTs get to be about the same size? The GTs I've owned have been just as aggressive as any JD I've had so aggression could still be an issue.
Not many centrals will get along in a 55 for life. Too small to have defined territories for 8" fish.
