So i got this fh x rt flowerhorn from a friend in bangkok as a gift. It was completely faded and red but now it has developed black spots and areas around its body. First thing i checked were my water parameters and they are completely fine with almost no ammonia. He is in a tank alone with no tank mates as when he wad with a couple parrots he beat the hell out of it. Here are some before and after photos:

Cause its his dramatic side parrots, red devil, and midas all get the black specs and blotches even from just moving tanks seriously its nothing to worry about he'll return to normal in a couple of weeks

Almost no ammonia can be too much depending on ph, temp and exposure duration. Can ya be more clear on how much ya have?
