Need info on Trimac's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So here he is, tank was a bit cloudy b/c I did a big W/C and got it all nice and clean for him before I brought him home. I asked the guy at the LFS and he said it was a trade in, so its origins are unkown and he may be a FH. Either way I am really jazzed about him b/c I just really dug the fish. One of him checking out the FX5 intake and a tank shot (putting in a plastic plant but its in the dishwasher atm)

hmm wait till he colors up a bit and take a pic, he may be a fh but im not sure, the spotting looks fh'ish.

Nice setup, he will love ya for it!

That is going to grow up looking like a Trimac. I can't tell you it's absolutly 100% Trimac but the face and fins are Trimac no evadance of a KOK and the upper lip and head are Trimac looking. Good pick-up and good luck with him. Nice fish. Post more pics once he settles in.

Thanks! yea he has had a long day, for a fish anyhow. He is just now holding his fins up a bit and some color comeing back. I'm guessing a day or two untill he is fully settled in and looking normal.

Looks to be not too far removed from a pure trimac if it is a fh. Looks like an awesome fish!

Thanks!

Trimacs are awesome fish I have one. I got from rapps about a year ago at 1 inch he is pushing 12 inches now. claims the area about 6 inches outside of his tank and will do his best to defend it. I feed him mostly pellets. In the summer he gets a good helping of whatever I catch outside while cutting the lawn. Really a pretty easy fish to take care of.
