I'm sure you're probably tired of hearing about it, but after reading your sig and seeing which fish you are thinking of getting rid of, I would dfinitely suggest the angel to go as its fins would be tempting to some of your fish, and probably most of the gouramis (maybe all but one?).
As for the topic, here's a site on jellybean convict/parrot cichlids. Are these what you have?

Well, don't worry, I'm sure your dream of talking to Jesse will come true one day.convict_breeder;1804184; said:yah it was so i really didnt get to talk to him.
but yah thats what my JB cons look like but pink not orange.
That's from the site I linked you to. Like I said, I don't really know much about these little guys, but the site does seem helpful. Read up.Q. I see odd shaped (almost round) convicts at the lfs, what are they?
A. Those are usually crossbreeds with Blood Parrot females. Con males will readily breed with BPs and produce fish that look like cons with a bit more rounded body and sometimes orange spotting.
It's good to see that you're thinking about their maximum size when thinking about which tank your fish will need. But if you want to cross with a blood parrot, you'll need around 50 gallons. Ever seen a full grown bp? You'd be surprised by their size. The minimum suggested for one blood parrot is usually 40 gallons. Plus, there's theoretically a chance your pink con could get bigger than 4 inches. You want to have the healthiest babies possible, right? Maybe you could start saving up to have the ultimate breeding set up. If you do it the right way, it could be really cool. I know you can do it. Just think on it before diving in, ok?convict_breeder;1804248; said:they max out at 4 inches ( JB i mean ) so they should be ok in a 20 long
