well i had a choice b/w an oscar ( had awsome juvinile colors ( or the 2 pink cons but didnt want to have the oscar outgrow my tank so i got the pink con.... now a Q for u all. can i use my 10 as a sump/overflow?? and if so how do i go about doing this?? when i get my 10 thats what i think i may do for my 29. so any help??

the 29 should be fine with the filters you already have. a sump on a 29 might be kind of like putting a V8 on a skateboard. use the 10 as a quarantine, or put a couple of your smaller fish in there.
the thing is i have 2 ten gallons in storge thats why i asked lol but yah i think im gunna use one of my 10 as a hospital tank and the other one with the ram 3 tiger barbs ( or they may stay in my 29 dunno ) 3 cory cat and thats bout it. and my 29 for my pink con pair and the 3 groumies i wanna keep ( i now im keeping the dwarf hes so colorful ) getting rid of the angel i think maybe dunno i may give him to a friend i might be moving in with and i AM getting rid of my algea eater. but yah i though a sump could be an opition
or leave teh 3 tiger barbs in teh 29 and get 3 more for them and then for the 10 i can add my 3 groumies and a 5 gallon i am getting to on the first if i am able to
Your ten gallons will only get overcrowded just by moving the tiger barbs, the ram and cories. Bear in mind you have only three tiger barbs so at this number, not to mention the small space, they will harass the ram and cories constantly. I would consider rehoming those tiger barbs instead of moving them around.convict_breeder;1805079; said:

i can talk my uncle into letting me get a 10 gallon kit from walmart for 30 buxs. then upgrade teh filter ( whats the best filter for 20 buxs at walmart?? ) then i can stock my ram 3 groumies ( angel may be gone by then ) or just leave the filter and get 3 more tiger barbs to make a school of them or maybe up the school to 8 to 10 dunno but if i get a differnt filter whats teh best one for 20 buxs that will do good for a 10 gallon
Don't get any more tiger barbs, CB. Please consider returning to your LFS your 3 tiger barbs. None of your fish are compatible and adding more can lead to more issues.convict_breeder;1805103; said:
