Hey C_B Why dont you thin out your stock alittle? You have 6 Gouramis' ,maybe take back two or three? I think you should think about what is best for your bichir to, he will be 12" long in a tank he is twice the size of. Think of it like this, you would have to live in a 10'x6'x5' room untill you die. Does that sound fair? Has for the JB Cons if you can get another 29 then keep them, but if not get rid of them before they get to big. Good Luck!

why not start saving your money up for a larger tank.... a 55 gallon even better a 75... then you can over stock a lil more and be fine...

Aunt and Uncle wont let him get over a 30g

ahh did not know this.... that really sucks

best return the sen and get one when you have the space in the future .

Ahhh, did not know you lived with your Aunt and Uncle...yes, that makes things a bit more difficult. So, what fish do you have? What tanks do you have, not including the 10 and 29 you will be getting. Maybe we can figure a way to arrange them to make them the most comfortable with what you have and will be getting?

I have to agree with everyone though, you need to take the Birchr back...to bad you do not live closer, I would take him and add him to my 70 when it is finished or in my 55 (I think he would get eaten in my 150).

What part of WI do you live in?

Hey heres a crazy idea find a fabricator and get him/her to connect the two 29's using the 10. hehehe, that would make 68 gallons!! I dont know if this would actually work but hey just throwing it out there.

LOL, that would be awesome!

if your getting a 10 gallon and a 29 gallon i would move the senegal and the short body convicts to the other 29 gallon and then mabye move some of the community fish to the 10 gallon if it starts getting over stocked or if you have any aggression problems

As for the senegal you could keep it in a 29 for a little while but they do grow fast i got my senegal when it was 2'' and had it in a 20 long it grew to about 5'' in a few months i move it to a 55 and with in a year it was 8'' the point of the story is that you could keep a senegal in a 29 but eventually it will get around 8''-10'' and you'll find it isn't very happy as senegals are pretty active so if you really wan't the best for the senegal try to find it a bigger home

thanks everyone and yah i prolly am gunno return te cengal bichir :( cant get a 55 for him anytime soon so im gonnna return him for credits so i can get some more food for my fish. and im thinking of keeping 3 groumise 1 dwarf ( male ) 1 blue ( male or i think atleast ) and either the paridise or the golden groumie.. im keeping the JB con cause THOSE i can breed for credit. i have my female betta in a 1.5 gallon hex next to the male.keeping the ram or angel one of those two. maybe both ( for my furture 29 i can have teh angel and ram and some tetras ) when i get my 29 and 10 the 10 will have the corys and 3 groumies. one of the 29 will have the JB cons and the 3 tiger barbs. and teh other will have teh ram and angel if i decide to keep both and some tetras.. so i have everything planed out as of right now.
