ehh.. I think it's that there's only like 3 or 4 real knowledgeable Flowerhorn enthusiasts on this site, and he's on the most out of them all. That's all. But I mean, come on, Just because I pray to him every once and a while doesn't make him a god....

Hey JP - or any one who has experience with flowerhorns - how bout you post a list of all the Flowerhorn and hybrid types with a definition of thier respective abbreviated names, i.e; SRT = Super Red Texas = Texas X whatever X whatever; for those of us who are just getting into the hybrid thing and who get completely lost when reading these posts that are filled with the letter combo thingy's like, ZZ, SB, KK, etc, etc. It's all so confusing :confused::(:confused::(:confused::(:confused:

Honestly the FH hobby in the higher level's is a hobby of looking at a FH as more than just a fish to keep like any other. But as a designer fish and look at it as undesirable or desirable. Taste in fish can vary. While sometimes the true diagnosis of what's bad about a fish sometimes can seem harsh... If you take this info into account it will only raise the standards of hobbiests and thus raise the quality of fish being sold.

I don't mind lower grade FH's or people who want to be in the FH hobby without much money to burn. We all start somewhere. But for the most part the worst to me is people overpaying for a fish with alot of negative qualitys.

most of us are pretty friendly, don't let a little debate deter you from anything.

back on topic........ this is an example of crossing the hybrid line. not my cup of tea.
 
oops sorry bluestar, i like him he is a little extreme for my taste but he has very good uses as a breeder
