Jerry, I don't know anything about the watch in question or the stated calibre (19.4), but judging from the fact that Longines is part of the Swatch Group that owns ETA, Uintas, and Valjoux, my guess is that the movement is based on a Uintas mechanical base movement. However, IMO, 34 mm is really small for a men's watch. I wear 40 mm and 42 mm watches. I won't wear anything smaller than a 38 mm watch.
 
Also forgot to mention yesterday, he said maybe 6 months ago this watch would have sold for 150-180$ probably, but with the increase in the price of gold he would expect $300 like I said. Let us know how it goes!
