Need Large Pleco!!!

Hi,
my tank is 125 gal, it has two green terrors 6 in., I had my large pleco for about 3 years, a few days before it died, I noticed it was not eating, so i put it in a tank by itself for a few days, it starting eating about a day later, and then it died. I would love to have another large one, my water in my new tank is perfect.

i have a large pleco about 8 in but im in australia...also mine poos ALOT how do you make em crap less and how do you clean there crap!... the hole bottom of the tank is black in about 2 weeks!

That is funny!!! My advice is whatever you are feeding it, the pleco does not agree with. Try changing the brand of food, for a little while, and see what happens. Also try to get a battery operated gravel vac, this thing is a lifesaver. You should be able to get these at local pet stores, but I don't know if they have those in Australia.

I see common plecos all the time for 10-30$ in the 12"+ range. Shipping runs 50$+ though. Drive around a bit and look, I guarantee you'll find a store with one. Or check craigslist.
