ah dont feel like waiting till morning heres another vid, i put one of my yellows in there, and it colored hella quick, it looking like you guys are right, looks like a mean lil sucker

Depends on what is in the 55, I see that you are experiencing first hand how damn mean melanochromis can be. If you think he is bad now, wait till he gets big. I would just hope you have some other fish that can keep him in check.
ya hes currently beating the crap outa my biggest yellow right now, if my ice blue (personal fav personality wise) cant take care of him, i mite just take him back
A Metriaclima should be able to handle him, I would hope they are close to the same size. I have never really had a good experience with any melanochromis personally, although many people have wonderful experiences with them. You will notice that your labs, and if you have any Acei, the more peaceful mbuna will take one hellova beating.

, i put my ice blue in there, (same length but easily twice as big) and hes not putting up with the auratus's crap, i love my ice blue hes like a golden retreiver lol, he always does what i want, and hes always the first to the front of the tank if im near. but it kinda makes me second guess putting him in the 55, im really happy with the pecking order i have right now, + the 2 i have with the auratus are 2 of my biggest mbuna. heres another vid with my ice blue letting him know whos boss, sorry utubes bein ***, and it wont give you the high quality option

I think you all have the answer to the fish in question... what to put with it, would be your more aggressive mbuna, a few dwarf ones too...
