need more caves

You will never again see your plecos with that! haha especially if you make it really good.
 
i'm tryin to figure out what kind of cave to do because if i do tunnels i'll need alot of slate because i'll have to layer it good thing i live by the big horn mtns i'll be able to go get slate for free sometimes its good to be a rock hound:grinyes: i think i'm going to build a cave with plenty of tunnels so my fish will be relly happy:D i hope:(
 
I think they would be happy.
 
theyll be happy with just the cave. i had the tunnel inco-orporated idea when thinking of housing reed fish. thought it would be cool for plecos two. its also easier to keep an eye on them if it isnt too complex

do you think i sould incorporate plants in to the out side of the caves i could make dips in the out side of the caves so plants could have places to hold
i think they would just be for show but maybe plecos would like a few plants :confused:
 
um you mean like on the fourth site? i duno depends on what plecos youre trying to keep. a lot of people have sucess with plants. me on the other hand have 100% given up on plants. all mine are plastic or silk, and one of them managed to eat a plastic one. stupid huh. theyre are certain species though that wont touch plants, and others that wont touch them when fed well, but still a bit risky.
 
i think i might stick one or two in i only buy plastic or silk i don't like live plants they die to easily and get eaten although if your fish don't eat them wen you feed them really good if you go on vacation and your piece of krap automatic fish feeder decides not to work the fish have some thing to eat:D
 
tell me what you think of this haveing lots of tunnels would mean you would'nt see your fish very much right well what about colered plastic pipe you'd get colored plastic pipe dark but not so dark you can't see your fish that way if your fish get stuck you'd be able to see them and you'd be able to take out a specific pice of pipe and it would be easier when takeing it out to clean because you'd now were the fish was so you'd now were poke something in the pipe to scear it out
i'm not sure but colored pipe would probably be alot of money though
i thoght it might be a good idea:D
