Need New Fish Suggestions

I have a 180 gallon (6x2x2) CA/SA setup right now, i just traded in my oscar to make some room for something else. I was thinking about getting a small group of honduran redpoints. What are some other good ideas that would go well with my stock.

Nice sevrums what size are they? As for tank mates Nics are nice and mine have good temperament.

I like the suggestions so far. Except I'd be afraid of adding another severum if those two are paired up (very nice btw!). I particularly like the female festae. I think you need a nice big snook

nice choice hrp..... i own 3.. 1 male 2 female my male spawned with both females within a weeksend.... not to get of topic.........

i would try severum... or blood parrot.. maybe a firemouth... but my hrps dont get along with my firemouth.... it really your choice

Thanks for the suggestions. Ive never had a salvini before, are they semi aggressive? Another severum would definitely get bullied by my other two.

I am about 10 miles northwest of Foxboro. I may be interested in those fry, how big are they? Got any pics of the fry or parents. Where abouts in southern mass are you? Im not sure what a festae looks like but i will look into that one, how big do they get?

mates Nics are nice and mine have good temperament.

My female is about 8" and the male is about 6", ive had them both since they were babies, they have bred many times yet the eggs are always infertile, i assume its my Super red. I have been looking at Nics as a possibility as well but cant find many around, i think Rapps had some.

Yea it was hard but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. He had been becoming more aggressive towards my severums lately and i didnt want him to do any harm to them, ive had them much longer than the O.

Yea ive never had them and they look really nice and probably have lots of character. I try to stay away from your ordinary fish you find in every petstore. I was also lookin at thorichthys maculipinnis but figured they may be bullied too much.


How many HRP's could i keep in my tank, i was thinking 2 pairs.
