it looked kinda beat up. but i still think it looks amazing. im gonna give it about another week to see if it gets better.

it'll be gone in a week thats an insane deal... as said earlier i've seen 2" at 90 bucks. I've seen 1" fahakas go for 45 bucks. If you can house it get it they are beautiful.

X2!

^ Key word their being if he can house it...

Personally, I'd say get. They grow fairly slow compared to a Fahaka and if you let it grow for awhile I'm sure you could find some one on here to buy it for more than $25.

^ Actually they grow as fast, if not faster than a fahaka...

if i do get him im gonna grow him out in my 50g then move him up to my 300g.

If that's your final plan, then I wouldn't get it.

...GET IT

They go for $200-300usd here for 4" ones

It would be a few months before it gets too huge to keep in reasonable sized tanks giving you plenty of time to decide whether to permanently keep it (I'd suggest a 500g 8ftx4ftx2ft aquarium to keep one happy for a lifetime) or to rehome it.

Agreed... since sadly even 300G is no where near enough for a full grown MBU, plus i'm presuming you haven't actually purchased the tank yet???

If you absolutely aren't 100% sure you can house these fish properly, why get it? Who cares about the $25 price of this fish, when it will cost thousands to house & feed it for life? It can cost >$100/month, just to keep it fed properly.
