Is he pooping ok? If not, try fasting, and epsom salt, bring the temp to mid or high 80's. cut the water current down a bit, just incase he is on his side and cant fight alot of water movement. If hes pooping right, and still eating but floating, do the salt treatment, low water current anyway. A good sign is always appetite, and pooping, just make it as easy for him to rest as possible.

pooping OK, eating sinking pellets, temo is raised to 84-85, all fish removed from the tank except for him. He is not gettign any better, seems worse, no color, fins and gills turning lite gray & white, I have had him for a long time, but I dont think he has much longer. I spoke to the manager @ my LFS ( its a pretty decent one, and he is very smart guy, been working there for 20 years.) He seems to think that a lot of flowerhorns, get sick like this without known cause. Because of the hybrid & the inbreeding of the fish....Is that possible???? Just dont want to lose my FH>>>>
