Need Payara/Characin ID

I still want to know why that vittatus has a golden head! do they all get that way?

Agree'd, I used to have some Charax Species and that was the first thing I thought of when I saw those..

Hi Xander13,
the fish is called Cynopotamus atratoensis, the River dog. I used the have two of them. Impressive predator, active all the time. Enjoy it.
