Set up my first real planted tank about a month ago. It's home to bichirs, geos and a datnoid. Heat is 81f with more than ample filtration, lights are twin T8 tube bulbs plus two 6" 6500k LED flood lights. Lights are on for about 7 hrs per day give or take.

Plants are anubias and java fern. Java fern is doing good and shooting new roots/plants off the leabes. Anubias is doing decent for the most part but starting to notice some small holes in the leaves and some ragged edges on some leaves.

Looking up online from what I can find, this may be a potassium deficiency? or something else?

Yes, look like potassium deficiency. Fish waste is rich in nitrogen and phosphorous, but typically lacks potassium. Add also iron, which in fish waste is not in a form biologically available to plants. API sells Leaf Zone that contain potassium and iron. For long term, get cheaper dry k2so4 and chelated Fe.
