I'm looking at a 96x24x30 tenecor tank and I just found out it is 1/2" acrylic.

This is throwing me off a little since every proposal I have asked for recently as quoted me 3/4" acrylic with those dimensions.

Is this standard acrylic thickness for a tenecor tank?

1/2" is kinda weak, that's what's on my 24" tall tank and it bows, I wouldn't push any taller than that without goin thicker

Thanks twilight zone and brich999, your responses made me feel a lot more confident in the information that I have been reading online.

Thanks Poklei. A good friend of mine just purchased a tenecor and didn't have anything negative to say. This particular tank is at least 3 years old, and if I get it I would definitely want to see it full of water before purchasing.

I have a tank with the exact dimensions you are wanting. It is made with 1/2" and it bows pretty bad. It holds, but it bows like crazy.
