Sounds like a fair deal. Bright lights can stress your fish if they aren't used to them. You may have to run one bulb, or raise the fixture above the tank if your fish freak out or try to hide from the light. Remember, stress is very hard on fish.
 
my tank..littlest peacock just got on thursday..just added the air strip bubbles and the t5 lighting..:headbang2

my fish acted well to the light..infact they started swimming around more now..
 
That's good. Should work alright. Those appear to be regular bulbs, and not the high outputs.
 
a friend of mine asked me if i can get him 2 peacock bass and raise them until thier 5-6 inches for him..so i'm on my way to the pet store..hopefully thier instock..
 
got two new orinos and 4 new plants..sponge filters ordered n should be here this week..:headbang2 heres some pics..couldent get pics of the new ones..they to fast n wont stop moving lol..
