Put some coton balls in garlic and/or dip in canned dog food wrap around trb hook and change every 10 min you will pull some carp

Catfood, very good for marginal work as you can't cast very far with it on

Chickpeas, another good one i soak them in Oyster sauce

Bread, is good for both surface and ledgering

Dog Biscuits, good for surface feeding carp

Cork Balls, surface feeding carp again very good. cheap too from any tackle shop

Rabbit/Hamster mix, from any pet store makes a great spod mix, mixed with some molasses or treacle.

yep the best cheap mix is Vitalin Pet Food(it's a dog food made from maize meal, meat and bone meal) stinking cheap from farm shops as Dan said mix it with Molasses or treacle but this time of year feed small amounts of food.

I have caught carp on:

meat,( Peperami works well)corn, chickpeas, lupins, dog biscuits, small cooked potatoes, worms, green beans, cheese, slugs, mussels, maggots, casters, worms, plastic corn, dog food cat food good old boilies, thats all i can think of at the mo but give me 10 min and i will come up with some more:D

corn, corn, and did i mention corn. it always worked for me. i also heard that chunks of hotdogs work.
