I might have been a bit harsh, but at the time I was shocked at what I was reading.

Monsterfishkeepers might be good to read about throwing big fish in small tanks but the marine help section leaves a lot to be desired.

I too have read about re-vitalizing LR by re-curing it. What I've read is after a reef has been running for numerous years the Aerobic bacteria overgrows the denitrifying Anerobic bacteria generating more Nitrate than the cycle can keep up with. More resent resolutions are Bio-carbonate dosing like Vodka, Yeast, and Sugar, pure source of organ carbon. This organic carbon then fuels the reproduction of denitrifyers to lower the nitrate levels down to managable. I can only speak of results thru vodka dosing as I have experienced this. Research is key but practical application is knowledge, you can't believe everything you read on the internet

maybe that depends on how aggressive your clown are. if they are small clowns then i think your alright. algae blennys usually come in at around 2" (at lease at my pet shop they do) they are a petty hardy fish. they are around $20-$30 i think
