No live plants, just a few fake ones in this tank since I have SDs and an Oscar in there. I’m going to add salt this morning. Big fan of salt as a baseline treatment and/or mechanism to slow down the spread fish to fish. Hex shield coming later today and will get that to whatever fish will take it. I doubt the FM will eat since he isn’t showing interest but will try to get some right into his hide.It can if u don’t like ur plants, lol. Sorry didn’t see there were plants in the tank. Try the general cure and see if it helps. If it gets an appetite then still feed the hex shield. The medicine works best when eaten. Soak the pellet in garlic or bloodwork juice. So, pretty much as expected, all the other fish ate the hex shield without issue except for the firemouth in question. I did add salt this morning and since he won’t eat I thought maybe best course would be to treat the tank with some api general cure. Would this be a recommended course of action for the experts? It doesn’t seem like it could hurt...
