I would like to suggest you look at posting some new larger pic's as I am not able to wild guess these two. Baffled as to how people see OB in the first pic!!!! Maybe the pic is a lot clearer over in the USA, but here is Africa it is not clear.
Second one reminds me of a feulleborni I have but am troubled by the mouth!!!!
:naughty:  :headbang2 :nilly: :woot:  :clap

I will get bigger and close up views in next picture.. The forum will only take pictures so big.. but i will try to scale up to the top pixels they allow..ps I would love him to be a feulleborni..........

I was able to get some new pictures of the first fish but the second guy would not come out of his cave long enough for me to get a good shot of him.. and i sat there a long time LOL.. he was my main man..oh well ..heres the other pictures.. hope you can see them in Africa.
The blue guy needs id too so i included him..thanks

Male kenyii turnes from blue to yellow as it matures. But I agree with Straightjackrtstar- I do not think it is the same fish from the first set of pictures.
2nd fish: Is the mouth downed turned enough to look like this guy? labeotropheus fuelleborni or trewavasae?

fuellborni's are agressive...

I will be careful but so far he is very peaceful.. i have to get a picture of him in the am because he just does not want to leave his cave in the evening.. i was able to get a good picture of the very first fish i posted.. so i am posting it now.. thanks for the warning..

These are not the same fish from the first set of photos.
Yellow striped fish is a male Metriaclima lombardoi.
The blue fish looks like a Metriaclima callainos.

would the blue fish be a female or male?

Yes the mouth is very similar to your blue guy but i will get another picture to show you in the morning.. thanks and beautiful fish you have!!

Being that M. callainos should not have eggspots on the dorsal fin I'll retract improper id of him being an OB M. callainos.
Instead he is most likely an OB M. estherae. There are several variations of the red zebra, in it's solid morph as well as the OB morph. Also looks like a male.
