Need some ideas

Looks like I am going to be working quite a bit in the next couple of weeks, which, for a reckless kid like me, means that I'll have a few hundred bucks to blow on fish. I have tanks, adequate filtration, etc. Basically everything I need for an awesome tank, except for a stocking idea. I am open to any and all suggestions (disclaimer: I may turn them down ), but don't be dumb and suggest something totally rare and unavailable like beani or something. Plus if your idea wins you get to see pics when I get the fish.

Ok, so that's for quite a large tank.

How about these 4-Barred Midas, Trimac, Black Belt, and a Female Festae-with a school of Tin Foil Barb.

I would go with a kraussi, a myersi, and a spectible, all males with some fancy plecos and some clown loaches.

Sand bottom, big bog wood brances in the middle.

half a dozen geos and a couple of farlowella catfish (twig cats) will look the cats pajamas

make it a big planted tank. lots of amazons in the middle and some driftwood. the farlowella cats that craig_uk mentioned would do great in a tank like this. then you can have something frome the aequidens family, like a blue acara or a dorsiger. or cryptoheros.
