need some info on this

but if you take the cost of the lights and the fact that you only run them during the day and you will still have to provide heat at night you will be ahead to get a light to provide the wavelengths the reptile needs...most of those light that I have used last no more then 6 months running day and night.

Look up the manufacture on the web and see what is the average number of hours they last....if they say they can't tell you it's because they don't last verry long.

Take the average life of the bulb and devide that by the number of hours you plan to use it each day and that will tell you how long the bulb will last for you.

Their web site isn't much help...LFS have any info of maybe a phone number you could call for info?

taken care of for the night heat source, im getting a heating pad, the ones they sell at savons and target their much safer than those hot rocks or those ones you stick on the bottom of a glass tank.

yeah I hate those heat rocks ... can you run a regular heating pad for that long? Any of you other guys used a reg heating pad for this?
