im thinking of dedicateing my tank just to my dinosour eel AKA sengel bichir but theres this other eel caled dragen eel what is the real name to that one?? and any info?? looks cool so can i have one for my 29
tank wil only have the dinosour eel and the dragen eel ( dont now mmuch bout them so more info on the dragen eel plz ):popcorn:

Are you talking about Gobiodes broussonetti? If so, it is brackish water so you can't have it. If you dedicate that tank to bichirs and eels, what will happen to the other fish?

"dragon eel" is a fish that will eventually need brackish.. I would say no and stick with true bichirs instead.

If you are talking about the dragon or violet goby, not compatible in the long run. It's brackish. Is this what you are talking about?

ok so then how does this sound 2 or 3 more sengel bichir?? so 4 total for the 29 and the tiger barbs as dithers??? DANG BICHIR ADDITION
No, CB. The tiger barbs will only end up eaten by the bichir. Your tank should have only one bichir, nothing else. Bear in mind a 12-inch fish needs plenty of space. Four IMO is cramping the compartment.

walmart has the dragen eel and there only 3 inches
You only considered the current size. What about the adult size? What about your plans to upgrade? Besides as pointed out, this fish cannot be kept in freshwater conditions.
