ok i am trying to figure out why my cichla not just 1-3 of them but all of them grow so quick..my orinos grew 2" under a month and my first shipment of xingus and azuls from TJ already grew 2-3"..i am not complaining about the growth just trying to pin point ideas of why they are growing quick..heres a run down..
my tank is 300g wide 96"x30"x24" (L x W x H) i only run a sump with just a filter pad (changed once a week) with a iwaki pump around 2100GPH..i do 50% wc once a week with maybe 2-3 siphons (5-10g) of waste in between wc..i feed once a day..one day i feed pure massivore next day pure food sticks all they can eat etc..when i do water changes i do ad prime..all my perimeters are always the same..tank temp 81-84 depending on time of day..
does anyone have any input to why my cichla have grown a min of 2" in 1 month? or just grow quick in general? any info comments will be nice..i just know whatever i am doing is working just would like a idea as to why..
