your talking about the 55? with a fluval fx5....a possiblity, sure....but like you said the jar with turn into a killer sooner or later so keep an eye on it. ;) But in a 125....definately...people talk the talk here on MFK and many do have large set ups.....realisticlly....it cost time,and money for an invetment like these....plus there are a lot of kids with big imaginations as well...... seem like you got a decient understaning....filtration seems fine.....water changes at 20% a week is a must.

:iagree: the fluval fx5 has a five step filtration set up including bio media.........plus the amount of water it moves an hour....625 or something like that.....make sure to clean it every two weeks or month.....hows the water agitation in you tank? Just wondering whats "TYVM"? I cant keep up with all the comp lingo....damn hipsters...lol nevermind...I understand...thank you very much as well...

Hehehe, Thanx man. Well you have the return flow on the fluval and also the return on the tetratec PF501 (Heavy duty 4 filter (HOB). Think I need some powerheads as well?

I think you have 6 monts, yes..

as to the cleaning, be sure you use tank water ( as opposed to tap water ) so the bacteria are not destroyed:)

Im pretty good at tank maint. Thanx alot I wanted some second opinions. It has been over 15 yrs since I kept big fish...lol

Used 135 & all equipment Getting a nice 24 Hr 10% bleach bath...

All Dechlorinated, Rinsed out, and Cleaned UP almost SHOW TIME!!!
