I passed on the amph and will just keep my festae solo for life. My intial though was similar to many here but my own personal desire for the fish was testing my better judgement.
Need some quick honest feedback please

I don't want a male that's for sure. it will require a much larger tank and even still they can be really rough on each other. I been grooming this fish from day 1 and would hate for her to get beat up. I am going to leave well enough alone and enjoy my festae solo.
