Tough to argue with that! If this is your last tank, I would agree with all the other suggestions, though.

and we all know how the "last tank" thing is, i'm on my third "last tank" and looking for another one now.

I love my eheim 2128 and I have it on my 90 gal w/penguin 150 powerhead. Its pricey but I think the price is coming down on them, it also comes with a heater built in so nice clean app. hope this helps.

it helps to know what kind of setup and what kind of fish will be stocked some fish require more water flow some less you could use anything from simple sponge filters to canisters and sumps it all depends on what your going for

AC 110s are good enough - pretty cheap (in comparison to other filters).

I really dont like over the back filters, ive never owned a aqua clear but from my exp. (otb) filters r to noisey. I dont like all that stuff hanging on the back anyways. Hey thats just me the canisters ive owned r quiet and easier to care for.
