Need some stocking advice

I do kinda like the goldfish. I wouldn't grow one out like that again, but since we have him, he's in great shape & his bright color stands out beautifully against the background.

I am not inclined for mixing fish in such a nature. I am not sure you would think most of these fish will be fine. Peacocks are more peaceful than mbuna, but they are not wimps either. They are more aggressive than most of the fish in your tank.

Now if you want help giving as much information matters. Linking people to a thread so they have to go off and search for the answers is not really the best way to do it.

Now, I have a similar tank as you. I know it is great in being tall, but it is not too deep. A 4ft tank such as a 110 is not the greatest for peacocks. Now I have a 120 that I keep them in and I will tell you that they do need a way to get away from each other. Even if you add one, they can be terrible aggressive. If put with more aggressive fish they can wimp out and die, put with more submissive fish and they will tear they up. If you get one when small it will take a while to get the adult size, but once there over night they can mature sexually and be terrible. With peacocks it is all with the mix. You have to be willing to pull one if necessary.

If after all this information you want to try, then go ahead, but you have to be willing to move him if it does not work. Or it will kill all your other fish.

Well, for better or worse today I picked up a 2.5" blue regal peacock cichlid. I'm still acclimating him- taking it real slow because my tanks pH is probably a little lower then he's used to.

Not sure if it means anything or not but he doesn't seem agitated by the other fish in the tank swimming up to the clear plastic bag he's in.
