Need some water pump recommendation.

Hey MFK

Am going to set up a 6ft 4ft 4ft FGT tank soon. Ill be using a over flow sump which i will need to pump water up around 5-6 feet upwards.

My tank will be around 700 Gal. Its going to be a gar tank which ill need a good turn over rate as will. Its going to be an outdoor tank as well.

From my understanding pond pumps are more clog free compaired to regular tank pumps.

Please recomend me Brands, flow rate, difference between getting a pond pump or a rugular tank pump.

Move pump inside the stand and get a reeflo hammerhead gold. The low power for a 5555gph pump pays for it's self

That's no friend. Pool pumps are half the price but consumes more energy. So you'll be paying more month after month.
