Hey all, ive had a 5gal acrylic tank up and running for a couple months now with 2 striped caribbean hermits and some majano anemones. anyone got ideas for some inverts i could add? i was thinking along the lines of a brittle star or a couple astrea snails, but i want MFK's opinion and suggestions. thanks!:D

i'd go with sexy shrimp.......fun to watch!

Brittle stars can get VERY large. I had one once that had a wing span like Kevin Garnett. So watch your specie. I dont know if they are all like that.

Fish wise I would get one of those uber tiny cool gobies or something.

i wasnt sure you were looking for fish also

yellos (or any color i preffer yellow) clown gobies are great!

Fleshy- yeah i know they get big... i guess i was thinking more along the lines of the smallish serpent stars... i have one in my 30gal thats had an armspan of 8" or so for more than a year, and its survived 4 power outages.

Pevine- i will give that a look... i dont think im looking for fish though. this is supposed to be a low maintenance tank but i need something a bit more interesting than just the 2 crabs.

look into sexy shrimp, they are fun to watch

even a tiny cleaner shrimp? i have one in my 6.5 gallon and hes fun to watch.
to feed maybe drop 2 pellets of food in or or smething?

also i need something i know the crabs wont kill... they destroy any food matter i put in the tank... very quickly. sleeping tiny shrimp = possible food...
cleaner shimp could be a possibility though. i sure would love to try peppermints again. Im also looking into a turbo snail (true mexican turbo), and/or that serpent star.

baby mantis, the hermits will be bye bye tho
